MARIO VARGAS LLOSA: “POLITICAL CORRECTNESS IS THE ENEMY OF FREEDOM”



The issues in contemporary time like liberalism, Nationalism , Populism , intellectual honesty, literature and Morality and political correctness and Freedom.Here  I try to give my views about all the things. All  are part of culture studies

 In liberalism shows the individual liberty or freedom which is obviously aginst power of democracy. Liberals are not accepted by society because in the society people have the see thing which is acceptable by everyone but liberal people see the things in the different way which is not  seen by common people. They see the thing different perspective. They have different perspective of living the life but as the word " different " shows that they are not accepted commonly the things so people easily not accept them. It should not be happen  because people should accept the different perspective which is shown by liberal people. Ideologies are also enemy of freedom.

Nationalism: Llosa speak about Nationalism as a kind of racism. He says that, if we believe that belonging to a certain country or nation or race or religion is a privilege, a value in itself, we believe are superior to others. E.g we can see Nationalism in India that power or ideology strictly follow nationalism. nationalism is good but you can not ask anyone to follow the ideology of nation because that is oppose to freedom like National Anthem in cinema..
Populism is challenge by Democracy.  In the literature freedom is important because without it that cannot express the thing which is real. So Literature freedom is shows things which is real and hiding   because of the reason of Morality  so Literature freedom and Morality is not going together both are enemies.                        
Technology: technology is good but now a days it is spoiling by fake news and post truth. Now a days technology used to serve lies and post truth thus, this is targeted by enemy of freedom.

Political correctness and freedom':These are two opposite compartment. Political figure is always self-centered. it never gives that freedom to raise individual thoughts. Because it rejects that honesty to come in reflection of society.

About William Wordsworth :      William Wordsworth was a major English Romantic poet and he was born : 7th April, 1770 and Died: 23ed April, 1850.  Wordsworth called his poem "Experimental". Cultural studies: media, power and truly educated person. The word “culture” itself it so difficult to pin down, “cultural studies” is hard to define. As far as cultural study is concerned, it has broader meaning because we see from various perspective then an individual can know what actually it lays in the meaning.
