Interpretation Challenge: Breath: The Shortest Play by Samuel Beckett


we watched 'Breathe' the shortest play by Samuel Beckett, to understand the concept of the theatre of abusrd. When we watched these types of abusrd play we feel that nothing happens on the stage but there is always something behind nothing. Nothing happens without purpose. Even our existence on the earth is for some reason.

  • In thirty second play samuel beckett put something about this video. The paly 'waiting for Godot' the main theme is Nothingness. 
  • Here also it is my point of view we can see and  find that here also nothingness in this play. Also present the Absurdity of life. 
  • In the beginning of the play we can find here the baby crying  and anothere more think like in this video.

  • we can see many think like Bottle, computer, medicine, etc...... they all are think related with the daily human life.
  • Also the word 'Breath' is connected with life. 
  • It  is my side in this video beginning the baby crying  , the born of baby it is also the  signifies the birth and death. The cycle of the nature. 
  • Also more image of darkness. The darkness means nothingness but something is there. The nothing is happing in the play.  
  • In this play it is connected with thinking. Because how we know? , what we know, and how we think? .... 
  • suppose I am Hindu , or ram but in real life who I am. We don't know. what I am doing. We all are constructing our self beyound our conciousness.
  • The play has many concepts..

- Meaninglessness
- Absurdity.
- Existentialism.
