Dr vishal Bhadani is actually A writer, translator and Trainer as he has written in his Facebook bio. we had a very good talk with him on Translation theory and his book Fictionalay. it is a collection of short stories. in our talk he referred to his attempts to do something creative writing stories.
Before he came some stories were forwarded to us via WhatsApp in our educational group and we were told to read in Advance. He talked on his collection of short stories entitled 'Fictionalay' and its significance in the common people's life. Vishal Sir read his two stories and also given tips to write short stories or any work.the stories which were given to us .
1. Mara hath ni vat nathi.
2. Museum of innocence.
3. Sasai and ramjana.
4. Spring.
sasai and ramjana is the story is about the Gir,The theme of the story is supernatural.the story is of When recently lions are sifted from Gir to Madhyapradesh. vishal sir read this story also in 1st session .we had the opportunity to listen to his own story by himself. in first session he rade his two stories which are from his book Fictionalay. Second story was Mara Hathni vat nathi. In this story he wrote about the different part of a human hand with the help of this he talked about the social problem. it was a very good connection which he built of the title and the story and its element and also the significance of ones ability to resist or to accept things in a social construction.
in the second session Dr vishal shared many points on Translation and writing precisely.here i am sharing some of the key points like how to use transaction ? why to do transaction ? how to use English language in such work ? putting new ideas and many more things.
it was a very fruitful experience to listen to his stories from himself and to have such a knowledge about translation and writing and it also gave us a reason to read contemporary regional literature, often we are only focusing on the things which are going to be in exam but such literature can make difference.
Thank you......
